ABOUT ME 

We all encounter friction with every-day tasks like loading the dishwasher or programming a new coffee machine. Often times we wonder why and how even the simplest processes can feel difficult. I’ve always been curious about how user-centered design can lead to more effective, efficient, and enjoyable experiences in situations like these. 

The answers lie within the individuals who perform these tasks. In order to understand how to design better solutions, we must listen to and learn from those who use the products, have our assumptions turned upside down, and empathize with those who have different needs and goals than we do. 

I’ve set out to design solutions to real world problems by keeping this empathetic and human-centered approach top of mind at every step in the design process, from research to usability testing and iteration.
